Founded in 1999 by colleagues from FAU-USP (Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo), the FGMF office was born with the purpose of creating contemporary, investigative, and innovative architecture, working across all scales and programs, from the details of furniture in multi-purpose buildings to urban planning. Plurality and flexibility are part of the office's DNA. There are no predefined or rigid formulas, nor restrictions on the use of materials and construction techniques. With each challenge, they start from scratch and use design as their research tool to develop a new vision of building, object, and city. In 20 years of operation, the office has accumulated more than 500 projects in its portfolio, including residential (houses and buildings), commercial, industrial, corporate, institutional, interior, product design, and urban design
