An Editorial Process, Not an Open Upload

BAM is a curated editorial platform.
Projects published on BAM follow a structured review and preparation process aligned with the standards used by leading architecture magazines and award platforms.

How the Process Works

Publishing on BAM is handled through an editorial workflow.

Studios do not upload projects directly or self publish on the platform.

All projects are reviewed, prepared, and published by the BAM editorial team.

Step 1

Prepare Your Project Material

Studios begin by preparing core project material.

Typically includes:

A clear project description or concept text
High quality photographs or renders
Drawings or diagrams when available
Credits and collaborators

To understand editorial expectations before submitting, we recommend reviewing:

Step 2

Submit for Editorial Review

Projects are submitted to the BAM editorial team by submission form.

Each submission is reviewed based on:

Clarity and completeness of documentation
Quality of visual material
Architectural intent and coherence
Alignment with editorial standards followed by international publications

Submission does not guarantee publication.

When appropriate, the editorial team may suggest improvements to presentation or documentation before proceeding.

Step 3

Editorial Preparation

Once a project is selected, BAM prepares it for digital publication by ensuring the material is complete, clearly structured, and compliant with editorial standards.

This includes:

Structuring the digital press kit
Verifying credits and attributions
Checking image size and format compliance (max 5 MB per image)
Reviewing project text for clarity, and intent
Ensuring required project information is complete

Advanced image optimization, text refinement, and production-level preparation are optional services and offered separately.

Step 4

Publication on BAM

Selected projects are published as permanent editorial records on BAM.

Selected projects are published on BAM with:

A permanent project page
An editor-ready digital press kit
On demand press kit downloads
Shareable links for editors, awards, and media teams

Projects remain accessible as editorial reference over time.

Two Ways Projects Reach Publications

Projects published on BAM may reach magazines in two ways.

One

Editors may independently discover and select projects on BAM as part of their research and sourcing process.

Two

Studios may request active submission support for specific publications or award platforms.

Both paths are valid.

Begin Your Editorial Journey

Studios can begin by submitting a project for editorial review or by discussing a broader publishing scope with BAM.
