A space that acts as a background for objects, complementing and enhancing their presence without overwhelming them. The idea behind the concept store was to create an environment that is an experience, not just a mere shopping.
Several spatial decisions have been made to craft a distinctive ambiance that engages the senses. The walls and the ceiling are covered in a cement-based finish that authentically replicates the texture of concrete, creating an industrial aesthetic. The floor, composed of epoxy in complementary grey tones, establishes a seamless visual connection. Aluminum clothing racks, suspended delicately from the ceiling by slender strings, create an illusion of weightlessness, evoking a sense of floating within the space.
Long, aluminum light fixtures traverse the entire area, seamlessly integrating with the environment. Curtains, introduced strategically, contribute a touch of softness both visually and tactilely. Our commitment to tactile experiences is evident in the deliberate incorporation of textures throughout our projects, encouraging visitors to engage with materials and evoke emotional responses, creating a multisensory journey in the space.
The store showcases foil stool from Tbilisi Architecture Biennial that again underlines the importance of the re-use and the post-Biennial life. In continuation of this theme, the environment is adorned with a floral installation sourced from the fields near Samgori, Georgia. The deliberate choice was to exclusively utilize elements sourced from nature, eschewing anything artificial or commercially acquired. This conscientious approach adds a layer of authenticity to the space, inviting visitors to engage not only in shopping but also in a sensory journey rooted in the landscapes of Georgia.
