The potential relationship established between architectural design and the lush nature of Rio de Janeiro's landscapes contributed to the development of the concept of tropical architecture, seeking the creation of a contemporary aesthetic language based on an intense dialogue established with architecture of colonial and indigenous roots, under the influence of modernism.
