With a background in visual communication and a lifelong passion for painting, I thrive at the intersection of design, art, and food in multicultural contexts.
After one year in Rio de Janeiro, working at Duas Águas Studio in close collaboration with Brazilian artist Carlito Carvalhosa and photographer Mari Stockler, I joined the Master's in Editorial Design at the Fine Arts School in Porto.
Following this, I spent five years as a senior designer for Esporão, a renowned producer of organic wines and olive oil. There, I edited and designed Nativa, the company’s magazine, while deepening my connection with the landscape and exploring traditional food processes and cooking.
In 2020, I led the creation of Germinator, a public sprouting cabinet for the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial, later reimagined for the Secret Plant Life exhibition at Casa da Cerca in Lisbon. Building on this research, I undertook a 3-month residency at Center Rog, Ljubljana, in 2024, where I developed a 1.5-meter terracotta sprouting plate, made up of 21 unique ceramic pieces. This project culminated in a 25-meter-long performative dining table, meticulously designed to celebrate life and provoke reflection on food sourcing and sustainability.
Currently, I work as a freelancer specializing in visual identities and editorial projects while continuing to explore the relationship between food, design, and community through my ongoing research.
I’m curious, collaborative, and always open to new challenges.
