Atelier LuxNox is an interdisciplinary practice founded in Shanghai. The studio works across architecture, moving image, and spatial research, exploring the relationship between people and the environments they inhabit within the conditions of contemporary urban life.
The name LuxNox refers to the coexistence of light and darkness. This idea informs the studio’s interest in perception, atmosphere, and spatial experience, shaping its approach to both spatial practice and image making.
The work of Atelier LuxNox spans architecture, installation, interior and exhibition design, photography, film, and emerging media. Moving between disciplines, the studio approaches each project as an exploration of how spatial and visual practices reveal new relationships between people and their surroundings.
